New Business:
Full deed for the pool is in our hands and has been recorded. Thank you Jay for the hard work
resolving that issue.
Bob Alexander gave an update on US 176 road repair. Still looking at 2
years plus before the road is fixed.
A new drain pipe has been installed under the road which
has dramatically improved the drainage near Margie's house.
The gazebo, which was
significantly damaged in Helene, is slowly being repaired and the trees removed. There will be
a working party at the end of September to split the wood and get it stacked out of the way. If
you want firewood come and help.
There was a discussion about how the road will be
repaired. A caution was given to stay well away from the edge of the road as it is undercut
severely.
A motion was made to cut power to the pool area by Ken Land, approved.
Ken Land
made a motion to end the web site as it is very rarely visited, approved.
Both of those should
save about $900 a year to FLPOA.
Discussion were held about what to do with the pool. With
the road repair and the Daffin's construction about to begin we will be able to use some of the
spoil to fill in the pool. Since the same contractor is doing the road repair and the Marcoux
foundation work we can have him break up the pool concrete and fill it in. An estimate for that work will be provided.
At 10:30 Tony DeRosa gaveled the meeting closed.
Respectfully Submitted,
Bob Alexander
